List of ANZSCO Occupations Treated as an Exception

The skill level of most occupations is assessed in accordance with ANZSCO 1.2. Therefore, any occupations that have a higher skill level in ANZSCO 1.3 are treated as exceptions.

Skilled Employment Points and Occupations Treated as Exceptions

Where skilled employment points are calculated for occupations that are treated as exceptions, any occupation listed below is treated as skill level 1-3 so long as the employee is paid the median New Zealand wage of $27 NZD per hour or equivalent.
